Loved skipping school. I skipped most of my last year at school (did most of the work at home). Ours was a lychee tree and the fruit was the best.

LC, when my sister and I were young, my great-aunt watched us and they had a fig tree and an apricot tree and we absolutely loved eating fruit off of. 😋

What a paradise 😃- I love apricots. We had a tree in the garden, great memories. I miss good apricot preserves in the US. In Germany there were plenty of quality products, they say that what you buy is at least 55%% fruit.
BTW, I‘m Ivana and 64, married in FL.

Thank you everyone! mia jones, Mer, ccc, DP, Diana1234, erika, Little Red Fox, Charee, Bear🐻, Sweet Melissa, Petra and INF. ❤ Joe picked some more the other day, but everyday there's a slew of them on the ground, even though Joe put netting to catch them. It's fun to watch the birds, bunnies, jackrabbits, quail and deer come at feast on the fallen fruit. So far the clean up crew hasn't charged us for their services. 😄
