Hello!

I am a 53 year old divorced mom to three (almost adult) children living in British Columbia, Canada. I have been struggling with weight and yo-yo-yo dieting since my 30’s. I first joined FS a decade ago and find myself here once again in 2021. Coming out of Covid restrictions I strive to find a realistic program that I can maintain for good. Keeping the weight off has been a challenge since turning 50, that’s a fact!

My goal: to finally feel wonderful about the way I look.

Here's to a great 2021 and able to choose whatever I want to wear from my closet again!

Steps along the way:
159 starting June 12
The first (and easiest): 149 - 10 lbs by August 2021
139 by October 2021
Target weight of 130 for January 2022

So nice to here from someone from British Columbia 😀I'm 59 and struggling with menopause and weight around my middle 🙄 trying to feel better about myself by losing about 10 lbs or so

Hi, thanks for the note. I completely get the menopause thing. Since turning 50 it has been darned near impossible to eat what I want and NOT gain weight around the middle. Stick with it, we’ll bounce back!
