I hope all the Mom's out there had a great Mother's Day!! I finally got my garden done on Saturday and my hubby and kids went grocery shopping for me on Sunday as part of my Mother's Day present. Then the kids and I went to my mom's for dinner Sunday, and really that was it.

Friday my hubby and I went for a run after my daughter's volleyball practice. It was really nice weather and I was so glad he wanted to go because it's so much harder for me to blow it off if my hubby asks me to go. After the run my hips and knees hurt, that's to be expected, but my side was also hurting. It hurt until today and was painful just to move around, but I pushed through and got my garden planted and even got a short strength workout in Sunday. There was a lot of sitting around and I ended up eating more than I should because I tend to do that when I'm hurting. Hopefully, today I can get back on track with the eating and get a good workout in after work. I won't be running until probably Friday again because it's supposed to be cold and rainy otherwise this week, so we'll see if I hurt after that run. I'm thinking running the longer time and everything bounces around longer is what caused the side pain. If that's the case I'll see if in time my body just gets used to it, otherwise I'll make sure to incorporate walking breaks.

Anyway, enough of that, I'd better get in gear to get ready to work. Have a great Monday!!
