It’s hard but don’t get in a shame spiral for what’s already done. One day at a time!

This is a temporary state. Your body wants to be fed in order to heal, it will. You've got this. One foot infront of the other.

I don't know if this helps, but I like putting games on my phone that require 100% focus so that I cannot snack and play at the same time. It helps me wait out a craving.

You're heeling. This is temporary. I like Reibread's suggestion.

Thanks ridemariel & Kellagh 🥰 . I appreciate the encouragement.
@Reibread - I'll try anything at this point!! I've just downloaded UNO and Blockudoku 😎
|
Thanks Rosie. I guess because it’s not so painful I don’t feel like I’m healing.

Like any addiction recognition of the problem is step one 👏👏👏

Thanks moopie - I just need to last one more week.

Lolll Adoo - can’t hurt more than me raking my yard yesterday cause I “thought” it was light physical work, it’s not fall, it just some garbage that got buried under the snow. Then I felt a pull and pain in my stitches. I tore my stitches. My neighbors, I think, thought I was having a heart attack cause I suddenly grabbed my chest.

Nonsense. You know exactly what to do. Let's go! #getserious #mindset

Try to get on a schedule with your meals so you don’t get low blood sugar= binge 🏹

I had surgery last Wednesday on my Achilles. I understand exactly how you feel! I hate not being in the gym or frankly not being active at all! But if you can be disciplined enough to workout regularly then you can discipline yourself in the kitchen too!! You got this!

Try to calm the sugar rush with a diet can of soda, lot of fun and 0 calories.

it might sound silly, but try brushing your teeth more often, even if you started to binge, go straight to the bathroom and brush. Maybe gargle too. it wrecks your taste buds and signals your brain to be done. this works for me. good luck!!

We also need extra protein after a surgery as our bodies looks for it to repair muscle and heal. Say not to that diet soda suggestion and yes to a protein drink!
