Tracy - since he eats so much junk while working out of town, I try to do my best to see to it that his homecoming meal is super nutritious. He could eat better if he wanted but he chooses the "cheap and fast" path to meals. Sometimes I feel like just banging my head against the wall!

Sounds delicious buffy xx Good to hear you eating most of your carbs by 6pm! Keep up the good work!

I know how that feels....I went away for 5 days last year and it took Adam one day to return to his old, unhealthy eating habits.....grrrrr

Thanks Marty. 6 days a week I eat all my meals by 6 PM (I practice 16:8 IF).

Tracy - Guess we just have to take care of ourselves first and just hope they'll take notice!

You're doing great to have such a schedule all worked out! Husband's schedules certainly can throw a wrench into our own. But your new IF plan is working for you, as I'm seeing a very nice downward slope on that weight graph!

Sandy - I cannot begin to tell you what a difference the 16:8 has made. I used to be hungry all the time. Now, I have learned to be hungry only during my 8 hour window. Of course, there are times I still struggle (read chocolate), but all in all, I am able to power through.

Neptune - Yes, we do a lot of that too :)

Bren - Thanks - funny how we have gone through some of the same stuff. DH's next job will be in Danville, VA so things won't be as difficult.

Danville is not that far from us...or you..:O)

if I have to sit down for a "second" dinner, I make it a gourmet salad, some bitter greens thrown in, lots of grated beets and carrots, sprouts too, expensive balsamic vinegar to sweeten it up

LotusLandJoe - Sounds yummy - that is the kind of thing I'll eat for my 5 PM dinner. Got to get something DH will eat for the 8 PM feeding :)

Dinner sounds great. Are you hungry again when he eats dinner?

Rocky - Not overly hungry but you know how it is when you serve up a hot meal and people are eating it in front of you?
