Chickturu's Journal, 31 Jan 14

Today is casual friday in the office, so I decided to wear my favourite jeans (those that don't fit me well since like a year or more, but I love them, so I use them even when they feel a bit tight). I was a bit disappointed when recognizing that I haven't lost much weight :( I mean, I felt a slight difference, but not what I was expecting.

To be fair, I might have been expecting too much. I have been on regimen for only 2 weeks, and trying to exercise more than usual (although still not as much as I should); I should not get desperate because after all, my regimen has not been too hard. I just miss spoiling myself with chips, chocolates, and my beloved mexican food.

The more I write my daily food intake, the more I worry about the amount of carbs/fat that I have. Crazy stuff! I mean, when you eat some tacos of chorizo with cheese, you see and know the fat is there; but when you eat ham or cheese? :O or with the carbs; when you eat pasta fair enough, you know the carbs are there... but with grapes?

Doesn't seem to be fair, either I eat less carbs (and my fat goes up up up) or the other way around; but I can't seem to keep both levels low. I am considering doing the Atkins diet, bot not sure if I will be able to keep it up.

I am still motivated, though! I just would like to feel a bigger change. Hopefully soon.

I was reading this entry and it sounds like something I would write! I love Mexican food, candy and pizza (a little too much) Hang in there! Once your metabolism starts burning, you'll see more results. :) I always think of it like a train leaving the station. It will start out slow, then the more you fuel it with good food and exercise the faster it will go and the weight will fall off. Stay strong.. it takes a while to "See" results, even though it's slowing taking place inside.

That's right Tinishas1, eventually I will see the results (I hope!) sometimes it is hard to keep going, especially when thinking about tasty food :) But we'll make it! Cheers,
