TXSnowman's Journal, 22 Dec 13

Still holding around 208, haven't broken through the plateau yet. However, I know that if I persevere, I'll break through and start dropping again. Went to a book store yesterday and bought a couple of new hardbacks about diet. One is a replacement for a copy of "SuperFoods RX" which I gave away. The other is called "The Fast Diet". Got both of these to begin planning for maintenance mode after reaching my goal. Einstein's most famous quote stating that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result, makes me sure that once I get my weight off, I'll have to adjust my lifestyle in order to keep it off and to stay fit & healthy. The Fast Diet book details the 5/2 intermittent Fasting eating plan that I have been hearing and reading a great deal about recently. From what I've seen so far, I really think that this may be the most sensible and healthy long-term diet plan to help me maintain a healthy weight. Obviously, I'll be doing some more research on the subject, but I've got a few months to go before I'll have to make a decision, so I've got plenty of time.
