If you like flavored coffees, Splenda has a vanilla flavor that is less than 1g per little packet. I'm trying to get away from the cream in my coffee, too. Most of the time it doesn't work. So I am trying these. I wish us luck.

Hey Sandy, I just looked up dry (only because it is easier to measure) Cremora and coffee-mate. They have a sugar free that is low in carbs and cals. I may see about it today. . . . cream makes the drink much more enjoyable.

Good for you and I wish you luck. I don't think I can drink coffee without the cream in it either. I get acid reflux and I feel like the cream and fat hold it down. Maybe down the road, I should switch over to tea. What does Jonathan say about coffee? I like the idea of using cheese as a spice. I know he only approves of cottage cheese and sour cream. :)

I'm drinking hot decaf green tea for a few days to get over drinking so much coffee. Since I drink decaf coffee anyway this is easy. I was using about 6 TBSPS of 1/2 & 1/2 so you are right it is way to many calories. Good luck with the cheese spice. LOL

PS...re: Printing, we could before, but it wasn't as easy to see. I use that feature a lot so I don't "forget" the plan.

Mom - Black coffee sometimes upsets my tummy too so I may end up drinking less! Not sure what Jonathan will have to say about coffee - one change at a time is about all I can handle.

Neptune - Unfortunately, I run on caffeine! But you remind me I need to bring some good herb tea to work. I really should cut down.

ClassicRocker - Almond milk isn't creamy enough for me - too bad because it is a great idea!

Bren - maybe they've put print buttons on other items that would interest you? I'll definitely check it out. This is a part of being old (and old fashioned) but sometimes I do better actually holding the paper in my hand. Also, it is hard to tape the computer to the refrigerator door.

Dboza - PS - have you ever read the ingredients on the coffee creamer? Partially hydrogenated soybean oil, sodium caseinate, silicon dioxide, etc. Yummy!

GG - Well thank you! Guess I never thought of printing it before - guess I could always use my "snipping tool". As for "The Plan" giving up dairy may actually make it possible for me to follow it!

After further investigation, let me formally declare this feature to be AWESOME for all the number analyzing geeks out there! Can generate numerous reports- in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) or Excel (.xls) format- which can then be printed if wanted. The level of detail is awesome, with stats on the basics- cal, carbs, protein, fat, etc.- but also cholesterol, fiber, and sodium. Also gives analysis on averages for meals. Awesome!

Wayne - Very interesting! Thanks for letting us know the other features. I may just have to get creative.

Sandy, I guess I'll forgo on the creamer. I'm glad I didn't stop at wally world before I read your comment. thanks. What about coconut milk or cream? I have some cans of it... I'll have to look at the carbs and cals. . . I bought a little battery operated beverage whip. It should be able to blend the coconut into coffee. It makes a really nice froth with cream. .
