BP 117/69 pulse 66 BM+ Edema minimal Wt on my scale (clothed) 192 (no lasix yesterday) slept well, but pain woke me up in a.m. not waking up to urinate in middle of night (usual 6 a.m.) mask slips and dry mouth wakes, along with need to urinate
3:30 pm. blood sugar 95!!! WHOOPIE!!!
Decided to cut down on calories and increase exercise. I think the calorie indicator for "burned" calories must be off because I am keeping up almost OCD with intake, and since I have NOT lost the 8+ pounds the "burned calories" indicated I SHOULD have lost, then I must be an "easy keeper" and not burn as much as the AVERAGE person my size for that activitiy....
Lasix 40 mg and 1 K+ 10 meq tablet at 5:45 p.m. wt. on scale with clothing 196

I was just diagnosed with pre-diabetes and feeling very overwhelmed yet happy that I have the opportunity to change that... just loose weight... arghhhh. You mentioned waking up to pee - for the past few nights I have been waking up every 2 hours like clock-work. What's up with that?

You're not eating a lot.. What calorie range are you planning for daily food in-take? How often do you eat? My usual day starts with a coffee around 5:30am, bf 8am, lunch around 11:30, snack around 3pm, dinner 5:30(very on time everyday), and a glass of wine around 7pm. I don't eat after that. I go to bed around 10:30. So, I eat 6 times a day. Have a wonderful weekend, Oxdrover!
