I’m having issues too. Go to bed at 10pm. Wake 1am or so and twist and turn til 3-4am. Alarm was always set for 6am but now it’s 7am. Waking exhausted. These patterns have repeated for me since turning 40. Now I’m wondering if it’s every Fall??? Interesting. I’ve never noticed if my bouts of this is always this time of year. I’m taking notes. 👍🏻

So sorry that you’re not getting enough rest, BR! I know sleep deprivation all too well, so I totally feel you there. There are some amazing suggestions here, which I’m going to try myself. I hope you’re able to sleep through the night soon!

Wifey- same- I go through patterns of waking from 3a-5a so that when my alarm would typically go off- or I'd wake up at 5- I can't wake up until 7 and my gym time is ruined and stuff is out of whack because I need my morning coffee time. 😣

At wifey9707 and OP-- look up Seasonal Affective Disorder. Light Boxes can help regulate your sleep-wake cycle if this is what's causing the issue. Good luck!

So are you guys sleeping with the windows open? I've noticed the same thing, but my nose is super-sensitive to junk in the air, and this year with all the wildfires it's been pretty bad, and if we've tried to leave the windows open at night, I'm up at 0300, snorting & sniffling. Once we close them down I get a full night's sleep. This sucks because I love the night air, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Thanks all - and wifey, DP - that's the cycle my wife goes through - the toss and turn in the middle of the night. i'd love to sleep w windows open, but we don't due to allergies and humidity in the summer. fortunately today, i feel better - made it to 5:20, so a pretty solid nigh's sleep.

That’s the usual time I wake up during the week. Ever tried adjusting your schedule to match your habit of waking up? You might become a morning person lol

I am actually a morning person Harley. Just not a 4 in the morning person. 👍

Yes - it is seasonal...something about the light changing ... and when we move the clocks even more crazy

Right, Br_e_co- LOL- I'm a morning person, too- just not a people person. I'm a quiet, coffee, preferably at least 5 a.m. morning person.
