It's been awhile! I was very happy that I lost four pounds at my last weigh-in. I have to say that I'm impressed with my rate of weight loss. I'm starting to feel skinny again!
I have an average of 50-55 carbs a day. The night before my weigh-in, I tally my daily average of carbs for the previous two weeks. This is so that I can see my rate of weight loss for the number of carbs I had.
I've been trying to maintain my every-other-day-visit-to-the-gym routine. I haven't been 100% successful, but I'm still trying hard and proud of myself for keeping it up. My routine involves 20 minutes on the recumbent stationary bike and 50 minutes of weight lifting. When I weight-lift, I incorporate stretching and some killer crunches as well.
I also try to stay active with house cleaning and chores daily. The sense of accomplishment makes me feel good, and I'm burning fat. I cook too sometimes (an amazing feat for me)!
I incorporated some new foods into my diet since my last journal entry: tangerines, radishes, and squash; plus, I have a great variety of other yummy foods.
Fall is upon us! The temps are now in the 40s and 50s. It's a bit too cold for me, but still refreshing. I will be looking for a job soon. I have a place in mind--a bookstore in the city. I'm looking forward to making a low-carb Thanksgiving dinner this year. I bet it will be delicious!
