Tuesday Sep 10/13 New Day 4!! Was in a great deal of pain today until late afternoon with my lower back. I took a muscle relaxant at noon, but didn't want to take an anti-inflammatory pill as I feel they make me eat & crave more. I didn't get out of bed until noon, although I had been there since just after 1am, but wasn't asleep until close to 3am. I drank water with a lemon slice in it all afternoon & ate a half of a large banana. Really wasn't that hungry. For supper, I made some roasted vegetables with a "tweaked" recipe from this site. I used mushrooms, baby carrots, quartered onions, parsnips, broccoli & cauliflower. Used olive oil, salt,pepper, mrs dash, cajun seasoning. I really enjoyed them, but my husband didn't. He would prefer the vegetables raw, where I prefer them cooked. So I snacked on some mushrooms & parsnips while cooking the rest of dinner. I panfried Rainbow Trout, but I only ate 1/2 of mine & I had 2 boiled new potatoes & then I had probably 2 cups of the vegetables or more. I didn't treadmill today, which I had hoped to do. But from yesterday's exercise, I have blisters underneath a toe on each foot & my thighs are aching, but I did take the dog a walk to the park & back. That took me almost an hour, as I was walking really slow, but I feel good that at least I did something. I'm feeling tired although it's not even 11pm yet & think I will go to bed. I don't think I'll sleep but if I do, hopefully I'll wake up, even if it's the middle of the night, & have the ambition to go on the treadmill at that point!!! No more to eat tonight, although I have been craving something sweet during the evening. I sipped my 1/2 glass of orange juice, which does help me a bit. I want to get into the habit of not eating after supper. I won't put a time on myself, as sometimes supper is late just because of whatever is happening that day.
