My daughter's family, a friend, and I booked a vacation in Galveston, Texas next month. She got a call yesterday and they are refunding her money. The area has an increase in Covid cases. I am sorry for what they are going through. I have never been to Texas. I was looking forward to it. My daughter spent hours looking for a place available during the same time and not closed due to Covid. She found a place outside of Salt Lake City. It looks beautiful. I haven't been there either. Actually I haven't been anywhere. Looking forward to it.

I went from knowing no one two weeks ago to having a friend’s mother die last weekend, two coworkers who were exposed today, and unconfirmed stories of people in the neighborhood. So yeah, it’s serious.

Yesterday we surpassed the United States high by almost 3000 from April 😩😞 I agree with Kenna friend, staycation. For instance, a patient decided to just take the mask off once entering yesterday. Marked as a bug bite. No reason to put on an N95. Welp, upon vitals and triage.....”
this 101-103 temp might not be an infected bug bite, my wife and I have been having flu like symptoms for 3 weeks and she was tested for Covid on Sunday, her results aren’t back” ok thanks 😒 this happens frequently when your not in full on PPG or PPE, So imagine it outside of healthcare 😩😞😞 just be safe friend. We will all get through this, I know everyone is ansy to get out. All 50 states are open and people ran with it. Now we are headed backwards. This virus 🦠 is taking out now we know children from the start, mostly an after effect when parents didn’t even know they had it to , being in the hospital with MIS-C . Just stay safe friend and everyone else💜🥰

Salt Lake area can be beautiful. Just be careful and wear your mask. Be mindful of social distancing.
We are too getting ready to travel but in our RV. We will follow all recommendations.

Thank you all for your concern. The house we are staying in is in a secluded area close to hiking trails. I fully intend to veg out, do some hiking and maybe enjoy the hot tub. Not interested in crowds of people just want to relax and hang with my grand kids.

Thanks JCmamma I will be safe. I will say to myself. Would JC do this? And act accordingly. Thank you for all you do for your patients. It is a stressful time for healthcare providers. It has to be comforting to your patients to have a Loving and caring person taking care of them ❤️ I ♥️❤️ I ♥️
