My 2 year FS anniversary fell on a very special day. I was able to visit my son for the first time in over 3 months. No matter what life throws at me I vow to take care of myself. Cheers to living my best life, and helping my son live his🧩💙🙌🏼💪🏼

Thank you Melissa! It was so very special to see his sweet smile and how big he has gotten! He’ll be 14 around Thanksgiving time. He’s growing like a weed! Feels great to be in the blue still, thank you! Glad you’re here as well. You make FatSecret feel like a kind and supportive place🥰

I didn't realize he's at a group home. It's particularly hard right now. Many of the people in our homes don't understand why they aren't having visitors. We are finally starting to put some new guidelines in place for home visits which include needing to have a negative test for covid prior to being allowed back into the home. Visitors to the home have to be 6 ft apart and wear a mask. They are not allowed indide. It's difficult for some to understand and comply. I hope your visits can occur more often!

Hi princess! I didn’t realize you worked at a group home. Sounds a lot like my sons new place. He just moved from a residential setting to a group home. Glad they are creating guidelines for doing visits off campus. My son keeps asking about those, but they haven’t offered any passes yet. He was pretty upset and confused during the lockdown. At the new place we get our temps and sign papers, wear a mask, keep a distance and stay outside. We’re lucky it’s summertime😅 Thank you! I got to visit him this last Sunday. Brought chairs and a table to sit on outside. We shot hoops together and had a foot race. It was really nice day☺️☀️
