The scale spiked yesterday and I was going to just wait it out until it came down to update the weight but it'll be easier to see the trends if I'm more accurate. I did eat a lot more than normal on Tuesday night, ham and some sausage tend to throw me off but I was hoping it wouldn't matter. Well, it did. But it's temporary. I didn't eat anything "bad" just more so I'll just wait it out. Learning curve on what happens with certain combinations of food and differing amounts. Good to know. Cause eventually I'll be at goal and I'll know what my body will tolerate before gaining.

I still want to be 165 or less when I take off for my cousin's in 2 weeks. Very doable if I pay attention. Either way, I've come far. Seems like so long ago (in my head) that I was wanting to be under 185 and now I'm closing in on 165. It's still hard, no matter the number, to not "be there" yet but it doesn't stress me, just makes me want it. If it really freaked me out, I'd weigh in once a week but it's encouraging for me to see it go down most days, even if it's just 0.2. It's the trend. It's where I'm going and where I've come from. And it'll be fun to see people who haven't seen me in the interim while I'm losing. My brother and his family saw me at Easter. There's been a lot of changes since then and I probably won't see him much before July 4th so it gives me some time to make a serious impact. That stuff is fun. Love the reactions.

When I lost the weight before, I saw my aunt (another state) at a store and she didn't recognize me until I spoke to her. I had lost 85 lbs at that point and it was really weird that she didn't know it was me. Fun but weird. I'm hoping for some of those reactions in the next few months.

I really wish I could see me old bf tho. He saw me in Dec/Jan and I'm thinner now than he's ever known me. Living in NY now so that's not a firm reality but it would be so good to see him, regardless.

Ok, so even though it's POURING all week, it's going to be a good day. The trend is good. Getting healthy and sexier each day. Many of the changes are mental which is where everything else starts. Love my life....
