Tips for ladies, how to keep your skin smooth and cellulite-free or at least how to make it look (and feel about it) better.

First, let's be realistic, it's not possible to get rid of it 100% for most women. It's a normal and natural attribute of a woman and it depends on:
-age
-genetics
-gender, obviously (hormones, baby... estrogen)
-inflammation
-low collagen
-poor lymphatic drainage
-tissue quality aka elasticity
and obviously higher body fat levels.

Solutions in short:
- maintaining a healthy weight
- taking care of your body
No magic anti-cellulite lotion will help except emptying your wallet.
NO QUICK FIXES.

What does work? Doing this consistently for YEARS, I'm sharing my own experience.
Yes, I've been doing this for a long time and, actually, it's never late to start:

- losing extra pounds (BMI does not always work but you can start with this) and keep healthy levels of body fat
- lifting weights and by that, I mean heavy weights (will tone your skin, cardio won't help here, sorry)
- hydration (get enough water. WATER, not SODA, bubbles are not good here)
- lower carbs, higher fats (this is also the diet recommended for women suffering from hormonal disorders)
- eat grass-fed & organic when you can and limit processed foods and chemicals around
- sauna/hammam (gets those toxins out)
- medical massage cure (oh boy it hurts, helps drainage)
- collagen (improves the quality of your skin) => bone broth (that said, I'm lazy, I get it as a supplement)
- scrub your skin at least once a week and moisturise every day.
Unless you just don't care about all this shit, and it's fine too. But if you want a better-looking skin, it definitely will :) And honestly, it's not as complicated as it may seem.

New favourite exercise for legs/glutes: leg extension 60lbs 20x3. KILLER, somehow I discovered I had knee muscles, I love this soreness.
Last picture: love when the gym is empty.

Nice! May seem like an odd question- but do you exercise with your hair down? Have I ever seen it in a ponytail? I can't stand to forget a hair tie and i have to stick a pen in it to hold it up.

I’m doing four of the above. A good start? Hope so. I do need better skin. But can’t turn the clock back on sun damage. I hope all the ‘you get’ girls start believing what the future holds for sun worship. It’s not beautiful, a tan might seem to be, but as I’m aging, I have sooooo much regret for ever going out in the sun. 😞

wifey9707 I have skin damage as well. I started taking collegen powder for my joints and it has helped but seriously my skin n hair have improved immensely! I have some deep lines in forehead that are reversing and my skin on arms is tighter. Last week at gym two girls asked if I got extensions cuz my hair looked thicker. It does take about 6 weeks to start seeing change though. A added bonus is it ups my protein level.

DP I always exercise with a bun because I don’t like to have hair everywhere but otherwise I always keep my hair down. That was just before my workout. I actually arrive with my workout outfit on and take my day clothes in my bag, have to save time🤢 which means that I carry tons of shit in my bag 💼

Wifey those were tips for the body on a everyday basis but you are absolutely right about the sun. Personally I am a skin cancer survivor so I’ve been wearing spf on my figure in the past 15 years, every single day, be it summer (50) or winter (30). I don’t go to the beach often but when I do, it’s spf50 every hour, a hat and sunglasses (and shadow). The sun does damage the skin, sinks collagen and chases antioxidants.

Diana awesome, thanks for sharing. How do you take your collagen? Ash is also great for “tightening”.

Kennyn, I am the only woman every time I go, so there is at least a few droolers around. Therefore, having an empty gym is a dream come true for me!! Thanks!
