I DON'T want to be happy. :) or more precisely I don't think we CAN be happy all the time.
Happy is one of the 4 basic emotions. SAD, GLAD (HAPPY), MAD, & SCARED.
They are all fleeting (even fear, unless we're in an area that is going to be bombed, and can't leave. But even then not constantly? I was a boy during the early part of the cold war, and had nightmares, vivid ones, detailed, where bombers were flying in the sky above me, heading to us. However not all the time feeling fear.
SO, rather than HAPPY, I strive to be CONTENT. AND mostly I am. Content as in centered, calm, accepting.
