So I quit drinking coffee 2 days ago. I snavked all day yesterday and didnt eat any meals. I made it through the initial withdrawal already. I woke up with natural energy. With a smile really!!! I am thinking that this is going to be quite a revelation quiting caffeine! Will keep you all informed!

Really No Coffee? Mind if I ask why? Try as many have I don’t they’ve found anything bad about coffee? But I have one complaint! Too many carbs in those fancy creamers! Ha JK! Sure you don’t drink more than this trucker.... like 60+ oz some days! In any case rock on dude!

60 pack... Yes! I was going to give up coffee years ago and tried to Google all the reasons I should, and only found reasons I shouldn't. And that, my friend, was enough for me to never attempt it again! 👍🏼❤️

Keep posting. We have switched to half/half to cut down on the amount of caffeine.

I admire you for giving this a try! But for me, there’s no way I’m cutting out the lowest calorie thing I consume! 😂 Not to mention that I get just as excited about my morning coffee as I would a big fat piece of cheesecake! I don’t have many things that make me that happy! LOL Good luck and keep us posted on your progress!

I gave up coffee because of the caffeine. Stopped having rapid heartbeats after I gave it up. I still get caffeine in tea and soda (though I recently gave up sodas) but not anywhere close to the amount in coffee. Drank decaf for awhile and then just lost the taste for coffee.

I'm with MrsR. I go to sleep looking forward to my morning mug of hot brew! But, my hubby recently, and with much sorrow, gave it up. He, like many, struggles getting enough sleep. He thinks zero caffeine helps.

So I am still caffeine free, I go to sleep much easier, I have the natural energy I had when I was in my 20's. I have noticed that I dont over power people in conversation as much, giving people I speak to more time to talk and quite frankly, giving up coffee has helped with my migranes. I take less ibuprofen now that I am off the coffee and I work longer and harder without having spikes in heartrate whole working in the heat. I really think Im on to something here guys and the initial was met with bad headaches!. . Anyways If you can save money on the Joe, It even more money in the pot next month. I have been maintaining around 180 lbs. And have found that I am comfortable here at 180. Will be back on here probably in a day or so to say hi.
