Question...
How often are you weighing yourself?

I’m trying to decide if I should weigh daily or weekly???????

I’d love some feedback!

I eat healthy and weigh in every 2 weeks! I started off weighing in every day but found that doing so was a bit discouraging. Weekly weigh in will benefit you of you can believe in yourself and keep on track with a healthy lifestyle. I cant do the daily weigh in. I always noticed the water weight fluctautions and small fluctuations and that is annoying to me.

I used to only weigh once a week. Like msjay said, it is pretty frustrating to see the up and down. As I am getting close to goal, I am weighing more often but only recording my regular day of the week. I think I need the daily feedback going forward. I'm getting used to the fluctuations.

I LOVE weighing every day. You have to deal with the fluctuations- as was already mentioned- but I love doing it and keeping a record of my weight on here. I can look back at any given time and see what I have weighed. I think it's fun. Every morning upon waking after using the bathroom and no clothing on. Whatever you do- keep your clothing and time of day consistent. (That's probably common sense) ;)

When I am trying to lose weight I usually weigh myself in the morning and the evening. When I don't weigh myself I usually gain weight.

Thanks Fritzy22 and davidsprincess. I’m going to try both ways to see which works best for me considering everyone feedback and experiences.

At the beginning I weighed in weekly. Now I weigh daily. Back then I couldn’t have handled the scale bouncing up and down daily because of water. It would’ve messed with my mind. Now I realize it’s not a real gain or loss unless I maintain it for a week or more. It’s fun seeming the scale move around now.

Once a week. I tend to eat more over the weekends, so Friday morning is probably going to be my lowest weight for the week. So if you are losing weight, to see the trend...pick the day you know is likely going to be your lowest based on your eating habits.
