Do not get discouraged. I once helped a lady on her weight loss journey who weighed over 400 lb. She did magnificent. Lost 250 lb. in 2 years ( yes, 2 years). Like I told her— so you have something more important to do for the next two years?. The deal is, she never regained the weight. She learned new habits that carry her through to this day. No hypertension, no diabetes. She is HEALTHY and active. Her whole world changed. This has been about 20 years. No relapse. No suffering, no guilt. You can do it too! .

Proud of you. Even a small loss is to be celebrated. I too have the baby steps to loose weight.
Since it was your twins Birthday haveing a small peice of cake will not throw your plan off to much. Just get back on track and keep up the good fight.
