Vacation is over and I got a fraction of what I wanted to do, actually done. But thats ok. My kid and I spent a lot of time together, and when she wasnt an 11 yr old ticking time bomb, it was fun! I watched a lot of movies, but in true MBD form, most were movies Ive already seen. Basically I rewatched a handful of the MCU movies and we saw Aladdin in the theatre. My kid was watching The Babysitter on Netflix and I got sucked into that (gory but good), and we rented a movie through Amazon. It was just too hot most days to go out and do the yard work I needed/wanted to do. Were expecting a major heatwave so Im glad I got my yard mowed yesterday, and Im thankful for the little rain we did get. I still soaked my garden at dusk so hopefully that helps.

I think I figured out why Ive been going off the rails lately. Pretty sure its almost Shark Week. I should be able to recognize this by now and deal with it without acting a damn fool. My weight is down today but Im pretty sure its because I barely ate until dinner last night and sweat almost all day. Strawberry Kiwi Gatorade Zero is currently my favorite thing!

I included a picture of my first real garden harvest. Ive had picked a couple of yellow squashes before this and already gave them away. The cucumbers are SO GOOD! Hopefully theres TONS coming still!
