A picture I took not long ago. I like to create those memes.
So I'm curious, what was your weight like in HS? How far did you go? Where do you stand now? Where do you want to go?
Cheering you, my lovely FS friends.

120's in High School. 130's in my 20's after my first child. 150 in my 30's after my second child and 160 at 41 after my third child. I always thought I was fat, even in High School. I was 190 at 46 when I got divorced and at the same time got sober. By age 48, I was 250 and went on an all juice diet and quickly lost 50 pounds. When I started eating again, I then gained to 280 by age 50. Current weight 250 at 51. My ultimate goal to be healthy is 130-160. I have been on this journey since Dec. 24th 2018 and losing about 1 pound a week. I am 5' 5".

So cool to read your stories. I see that the underlying message is the same: we just want to be healthy AND comfortable with ourselves!

@Mishy, lifting is amazing for that! 3 resistance training sessions x week and you will see the first results after 3 months, already. Breakups are terrible for our confidence, we try to numb ourselves in a way, and often food is part of that process...

@Melissa, I thought it would have been fun to see how we move through life in terms of weight milestones. I can definitely see how this app can be useful!

@shiny you will make it! It's already a great thing you quit alcohol. So proud of you! 4lbs / week looks like a steady path to what you can reach and keep. Be well!

So my little story... I'm 1m67 or almost 5'6. I was way under 100lbs in HS. And then 105 at 22, 112 before my pregnancy at 30, 150 at my highest, and now I keep it 116-120, I don't look sick, because I lift. My bones are very thin so my frame is tiny. I struggled to lose my pregnancy weight and stayed at about 130lbs for quite a bit. I mostly ate like an ogre lol. Losing weight => science in my case, calorie deficit definitely worked. No outstanding diets, just proper lifestyle and lifting, of course, to get a decent body back. So keep going, guys!!

I really enjoyed reading everyone’s journey since HS. What a great idea to put that out there, velvetee; and your meme is wonderful, too! 😊🎈

Enjoyed reading this too. Thanks Velvetee! And great meme! Found the time to read most of it, but not the time to convert to pounds so here I go in metric. I'm 1m68 and I weighed 54kg in high school. Went up to 65kg while dating, up to 68kg on my wedding day and then struggled with weight from then on as I started eating the same size meals as him and he's 2m tall. Finally made the change with Weight Watchers after I hit 86kg in 2009 (wow, didn't realise that was 10 years ago already). Reached my goal of 66kg in 2010. Then a year later I stopped smoking and shot back to 82kg and I think that's when I joined Fatsecret and discovered workouts on YouTube. Took quite a long time to get to 66kg again and it's been a lifestyle change. Finally in 2017 I got down to 60kg, but found it was a bit too skinny for me so want to find a sweet spot and have settled on 63kg. I would like to get just below that to start maintenance, but struggling with the last few kilograms this year. I do feel stronger than that girl I was in high school and I'm grateful to have discovered that I can do things like a 5km run and lifting heavy weights above my head, etc. Staying positive and FS posts like this give me motivation every day. Thanks again!

In high school, about 130, which is very thin for my 5'6" large-boned frame. After my children , stayed around 150 which was ideal. I was very active, swimming, tennis, dancing, aerobics, biking. After my divorce in 1987, I just quit caring and just kept gaining for the next 30 years, until I finally topped out at 300. Now I'm working on being a healthier me, losing slowly, learning to take care of myself again. The many success stories and inspiring people on FS help me stay on track. Thank you all for you kindness and support.

@Nikina, thanks 🙏 the number sometimes matters less if you feel that you are comfortable with your image. It’s great to feel stronger! 💪

I was 98 lbs. in high school and thought I was fat! Comfy in a size 3. Hit 165 in my 30’s and hit 192 in my 50’s. Currently 185. I am aiming for 120 and will evaluate whether or not to go lower since I am 4’11”. I looked and felt my best at 24 when I weighed 105.
