Wonderful day! Woke up still trying to decide what to do exercise-wise , put myself on auto-pilot, and headed to the more distant gym to go to Ronnie's Zumba class. It's always lots of fun & would start my day off just right (after my hot Mexican 'Mocha' this morning with breakfast).

The drive was gorgeous; the world still covered in rime ice from the freezing fog, but the roads were de-iced. A wintery fairy land. I saw a group of Canadian Geese standing on a sidewalk, looking at the grass they wanted to be munching on, confounded by its whiteness.

I got to the gym & three of my buddies were there. I had to run to the potty, so they said they'd save me a spot. They grabbed the front row for us, with me in the middle, closest to Ronnie! I felt self-doubt, then totally got into it once the music started & felt hot and sure of myself (for the most part). The few times I messed up I blushed & my closest pal & I giggled, then kept on going. In between songs we agreed we were rockin' it! We owned that front row, LOL.

I grabbed a Clif bar on the way home at a discount store (found some good deals), washed my workout clothes, then had lunch; leftover North African Chickpea Stew and a Chicken Chorizo sausage. I'm really enjoying my spicy food festival while my partner's gone.

I need to figure out a day soon to take my sister to lunch, and I'm having a hard time figuring out which day works best with my exercise class options. Oh, how my life has changed! I'll see if she wants to go to my favorite BBQ place so I can have chicken breast with Killer BBQ sauce; or should it be smoked tofu? My side is always greens there; they have the most awesome vegetarian kale in a heavenly broth, mmmmm.

I have some clothes to offer my sister; she's the size I once was, and I have some nice stuff for her to check out before I give it to Goodwill.

Tomorrow is the day I take two Zumba classes in a row. I could change clothes after & go pick her up if she isn't busy.

Or Tuesday, between the morning willPower & grace (or Silver Sneakers) and afternoon Zumba with Ronnie.

Wednesday is Zumba with Gina in the morning, then I pick up my partner at the airport in the evening. I promised a fresh loaf of bread, so I need to bake it after Zumba.

I feel like I need a nap after typing all that, ha ha. I'm so thankful I'm able to do this all; not long ago my fatigue was to overwhelming to be able to. I can't count on this lovely respite continuing, so I'm going to totally enjoy each blessed moment!

I'm hoping that this healthy eating and lifestyle with help keep my MS symptoms at bay. This is my job, to be as healthy as I am able.

Whee - feel like I got a workout just reading all that! I was going to treadmill today but took furbaby potty outside first and it was sooooo pretty here I didn't want to come back inside (65). So I started clearing the yard & cleaning my workbench for spring planting. I made sales yesterday but tooo hot - but added to my soup today - burned all the hair off my throat for sure. Good job rocking that front row!

LOL - just noticed your exercise Cal - I burn more just sleeping...haha. Nothing like a reminder how much more I need to lose! Good work you!

Thanks, HCB. :o) Bella, I'm jealous of 65 degree weather (its 82 & humid where my partner is; a bit much)and the fact that you burn more calories sleeping than I do dancing my a** off! Just kidding. I had to enter a higher amount for what I burn in Zumba than the 'Dance; fast step' like I have been using. I talked to an instructor who's smaller than I am and she said her Bodybugg consistently showed her burning around 550 calories per class; I adjusted mine down a bit for the steps I miss, lol. Hmm, you didn't need that hair on your your throat, didya? Thanks for being you!

Hehe, Good job on Zumba, I bet it is a lot of fun. Here on base they are strict about instructors so they dont have much Zumba with all their certifications and licensing and whatnot. I cant dance, and being a guy I am a long way off from that stuff, lol.
