Well I love your name Dawn! There were a few Jennifer’s in my school and later when we moved around after we married. All were within a few years older or younger than me. Hubby want was born late 70’s too. I love to tease him that he was born in a completely different decade than me hehe.

12/20/1980 😉. I like the silvie name and JC. I think of you as JC. It seems like my family members all have a nickname for me. One aunt called me junk food Jenny because I’ve always loved sweets and she always gave them out generously lol. Another aunt calls me JJ. Mom and Dad called me Jo, yeah that one will get anyone else smacked or pointedly ignored as it’s their special name for me since the day I was born. Let’s see, RB (rich b*tch cause I’ve always saved my money and then wanted to give it away tot hose who needed it. Just didn’t realize at the time that money for beer wasn’t a need haha. Uncles never took the money though), toots, tootch (oo makes the ewww sound).... can’t think of all the others now. Huge extended family who are all big on nicknames lol.

Lolol that’s a lot of nicknames!! 😂 My nickname at work is Nesha. Short for Dawnesha. Which is a joke between me and the guys at work that are also from the Heights. Basically it’s my “ghetto” name... given to me by my “hood” Manager/ friends... god that sounds a lill racist 😅

Lol. Cute. Everything ‘can’ sound racist depending on who is listening and if they want it to sound that way. 🤷♀️I didn’t take it that way 😉. I grew up in an Indian community right next to the Rez. If I said that where I am now people would think I’m racist. Back home the people call themselves Indians and they call it the Rez. They called me a little cracker too and I’d ask them if they had any cheese lol. Some thought that was quite funny. (Fav snacks were usually cheese and chips or cheese and crackers 😉) It’s all about how you mean it and not what listeners want to make of it. Too many cry rooms today and not enough communication and understanding.

@sweet, the female mule is a family joke. I got my first horse at 2. My granddad has always had horses and mules. My stepdad got mules when I was about 12. Jack is a male and Jenny is a female. We have a good family friend named Jack so... It honestly doesn’t bother me but I act perturbed around family because they expect that reaction then a laugh and eye roll. 🤷♀️ Again anyone is free to call me that or anything else they like.
