Chicken and italian sausage with peppers and penne in tomato sauce...

I was curious about the Barilla ready to eat penne pasta I saw at the store so I bought some and gave it a try. The noodles are a lot smaller than regular pasta and the texture is a little more al dente than I prefer. All in all it was good and would be something worth taking camping as it doesn't need refrig if unopened and less to cook over a campfire. But for home use you are better off just cooking up some pasta and portioning off leftovers and freezing for future use.
