Got demoted at work today. With everything personally going on with me I’m not focused and I’m not doing a good job. I’m losing control of a lot of things and it feels chaotic. I want to drink myself into a stupor. I’m trying rly rly hard to get a grip but it’s not working.

Maybe instead trying to fix all the chaos you grab one thing at a time and focus on fixing that one issue, get it under control and then move onto the next. I know it sounds easier said than done, but as someone who has recently had chaos enter his life this approach seems to be working.

Take some time for yourself. Do something you want to do. Do you do meetings for drinking? I wish I could do more to help. You’re important and deserve to be happy.

Buddha says: Every experience, no matter how bad it seems, holds within ita blessing of some kind. The goal is to find it.

I’m so sorry things are going so badly but drink won’t help it’s a quick fix but you will feel worse later but try to keep strong 💪

Well my advice, as usual, is to just remember that it's all about me...and since I can't drink (damn blood thinners), neither can you 😁😁😁😁

WOW, some people are so narcissistic! Bwahahaha! If you ever need a non-drinkin' buddy, I'm right here in Woodburn, next to the mall...just give me a holler and I'll make myself presentable...well, mostly...😏

Awwww it’s ok. Maybe less ‘work’ at work will help you focus on bettering your personal issues? Idk what those are but I’ve read your bio and I know you’ve faved some tough emotional family situations. I’ll pray you can find some great help. Some good Bible based counseling is what I’d suggest. It gives eternal hope, not only in this life, but in the one to come for Christians. It’s life changing!!

This is a loss, so grieving for it is appropriate. I encourage you to face your loss, not run from it using alcohol and food. there still is hope. God go with you.

Love you guys ! Thanks for the words and encouragement. Means so much. I know you’re right. Drinking helps nothing. I have been working too much and it’s taken away from my personal life. My nephew yesterday asked what was wrong—he’s only 5. He looked at me and gave me a big hug. I told him he was the most important thing in my life. I have had a lot of work with him and my family that has taken priority. And I know this is God’s of way of telling me to slow down before I fall down. Katie I will ALWAYS take you up in that ! I didn’t drink anything—so that did help. Love to you guys ❤️❤️❤️❤️

So proud of you g!! Turning to the bottle has never helped anyone!! You sound like you are feeling ‘better.’yes!! Slow down...I need to do the same. Funny how telling this to someone else causes it to echo so loud in my own ears. 😊😘

Gina, I agree with everything Chris suggested. You are an extremely intelligent woman who has proven her strength through weight loss and abstinence from alcohol. Please take care of yourself.

It seems as if u r getting prepared by God for something greater. Every time ive faced something very chaotic in the past i can see now that it was for two things, break me or make me. Ive learned to allow for it to come, because sometimes u cant escape it, cry, kick and scream if u have to and then focus and find the most efficient way to deal with. The problem is not going to go away so get angry at it, tell it it wont defeat u, put on ur timberlands and hoodie on and get the fighting!!!! U got this!!!!!

please do not turn to the alcohol. Take a deep breath and try to focus on the positive. You have a lot going on and it was showing - so refocus. We are all here for you.

drinking is not the answer .....it will lead to potentially even further issues. drinking does not help in the weight loss or maintenance either. Thoughts and prayers 4 you to ease your struggles and inability to maintain focus as of late. Keep your head up, say a prayer, and keep doing the best you can as it is all you can ask of yourself! God Bless and Happy Easter🙏🤔🤗
