Tanked again during kickboxing class. Needed to take dextrose again. I had only eaten 52g of carbs throughout the day before class. So... what is going on? I had a fruit & but bar before BJJ to hold me up but today was a struggle. Is this thyroid, it definitely is diabetic being low, and my energy is just not quite optimal.

I don’t know what is going on but it’s not fun.

Hi MannieRoss, just went a little back in your posts, trying to see if I could figure what is going on (sometimes and external point of view might help). And you mention that you are lowering your carbs intake quite a bit. Could it be "keto flu"? I've read that for some people, ketosis could happen even with as much as a 100g of carbs per day. Just trying to help. One thing is sure though, with your diabetes and thyroid condition, I'd check with my doctor if the situation persists. Hang in there! :o)

Thanks! I was wondering if it was Keto fly, but the low sugar drop during my exercise classes are confusing me as well. I see my doctor tomorrow and will let her know. Hopefully she can shed some light on my situation.
