Its so hard to find in winter and the taste isn’t thaaaat good. 😓

the key is - place the strawberries in a bowl covered with cool water add a couple tbs of white vinegar, then gently stir with your hand and let sit 2-3 minutes. this is to kill all the spores and mold that make berries go bad in just a couple of days. you mightbe surprised at how much dirt is on the bottom of the bowl
drain then fill bowl with new clean,cool water, swish again then drain and lay on a rack, or paper towels or a clean kitchen. carefully dab and let air dry. replace into basket lined with paper towels. making sure the top holes aren't blocked for circulation. Do this and your Berries will last up to 3 weeks.
