While I've been tracking my macros and my weight just to have the concrete numbers to use as fixed targets, my personal progress tracking is simple: can I fit in to my old pants?
As of this week, answer is yes. :) I have been doing a closet clean-up due to my body changing; the strength training I've been doing and gaining weight due to bad lifestyle habits, I mourned having to donate my pants. But as of this week, I fit back in to my jeans and I'm pumped! I hate clothes shopping, so having to buy MORE clothes just gives me a headache.
Now I can wear my jeans again! Here's hoping that hitting my target weight doesn't mean I have to buy smaller jeans. I just want to wear my old ones with a smidge of give in the thighs.
