Hello FS Warriors,
A busy day at work today. I applied for another job today - within the same company, but at a different location. Just looking for a few more challenges to make my last few years at the company a little more interesting. If I get it, I'll thank the Lord for it; if I don't, I'll thank the Lord for it. He knows where he wants me, and I'm happy to be where I am if that's where I'm supposed to be. Time just flew by today; that's usually an indication that I've been putting out fires; and I was. One issue after another, but it feels good to come through the battles unscathed.
It rained most of the day today, so I decided to wait on building the firepit. I decided to take care of the cat litter boxes instead, so I wouldn't have to do it when the weather was nice. I layed out the stone last night to get a feel for the size, and make sure it didn't look too gaudy for the space it was going to occupy. Looks pretty good. It has a 41 inch inner cirle diameter, but it's plenty big enough for an urban yard. If it stops raining early enough, I'll finish laying the stone tomorrow evening.
DW had her first radiation treatment today. So far, so good. She seems to be in relatively good spirits. I haven't made her cook for the last two days; been eating homemade vegetable beef soup. I can survive for a few days on that if I have to; pretty good stuff. She had steak out, and I could have had that, but I had a feeling that she was hoping I wouldn't press her to cook. So I didn't. Believe me, I have enough reserves to last a while.
Doing pretty good in the eating department. Been taking the green coffee bean extract for two days now; I can tell that I'm wasting away to nothing. LOL! They say that you don't have to do anything differently, but I know that I need to nip these bad eating habits in the bud before they really get out of hand again. So, for the last two days, I've done well on about 1500 calories. Who knows, maybe the coffee bean extract is curbing my appetite - though I don't think that's what it's supposed to do. I think it's supposed to do something about shrinking fat cells or something like that.
