I must eat. Don’t want to but I’m so hungry the tummy hurts and my headache is getting worse. Appt and errands today so lunch will be late. Normal calories (1200) yesterday but little food compared to normal which is why the tummy isn’t happy this morning. Chugging coffee isn’t helping. If I run errands hungry then I’ll grab a donut, smoothie or other snack in town. I know me lol. That stuff isn’t bad but I’d rather make a lower calorie choice at home. If still hungry later then a 250 kcal smoothie with 24g of protein may be in order. Freaking cold at the moment so that probably wouldn’t be a good choice either just because of it being cold. Have I mentioned that I dislike the cold immensely? Well I do! Give me 70-95 degrees and I’m a happy girl. It drops to 50 and I want to be a hibernating bear! It’s like 20 now 😭

Hope you're able to get the calories with the food you want. Running around and balancing calories/macros takes some planning. We were out running errands yesterday and was a bit off with my numbers, didn't eat enough calories, but not too bad. So much easier when I am home. Hope you're appts. go well. 😊

Oh no! Anything aside from my normal throws me off. I usually end up just fasting if something messes with my routine; having to drive to San Francisco, working unexpectedly and immediate with no prep time, and stuff like that. I’m not sure what would be worse. It makes me feel like absolute crap also! Hope you feel better !

Appt was counseling. Was able to get something off my chest and some advice as to how to phrase something properly ;). I put my phone down, grabbed a jerky and realized I had 10 minutes to leave! Was going to eat it on the way but ended up forgetting it in my haste to get down muddy roads and into town lol. Two Tylenol didn’t help the headache but oddly enough it settled the tummy. Just getting home and made some home made chicken noodle soup. Nothing fancy just leftover seasoned chicken breast with egg noodles in chicken broth base. It warm, it’s filling(although it doesn’t hold me long) and it’s salty lol. It’ll do! 17 hours with nothing other than coffee and a few sips of diet cherry limeade. If you take out the gummy vitamins then it’s been about 18.5 hours since I’ve finished dinner. If I’m not ravenous after dinner tonight then I’ll fit in 1-3 days a week like this until the end of the year. Bye bye guilt from eating a bigger Thanksgiving dinner lol.

Also, I’m the same as you ladies. Being away from home and away from my routine tends to throw me off. I’m trying to set up alternate routines for in town. So far I’ve only managed a few. One is a smoothie if I want a dessert. I now get diet cherry limeade for 35 kcal per rt 44 over my normal vanilla root beer and I do my best to have a protein bar and/or jerky in my purse rather than grab a burger or candy bar. IF the kids don’t take all my cash then I can send them in for their snacks and I’m not even tempted ;).

It's all about planning for the unexpected or just out of home/routine. I know I have it easy at home and in my routine because I don't have temptations in the house. We all have to leave that security behind at times. I've been caught off guard this last week by lunch invites from my daughters and a long road trip. I do know how to handle all of that, but I chose not to...sounds like you have good alternate plans there! Keep it up!

Thanks! So glad you were able to take that trip and eat with your girls! I never pass up a chance to eat with my family but I sometimes request a healthier place to eat, eat less before and after or eat a small meal there to make up for it. I think we all choose to deviate from the new normal for us from town to time. I also believe that this is very healthy behavior 😉.
