I wanted to get some healthier food options to try and of coarse as it always happens with me, healthy foods are not good for me. I got some grassfed grassfinnished fat, beef heart, chicken skins, primal ground beef(has organ meat) etc . I accidently got someone else's order and tried the chicken sausage, tasted great but hit me in the belly hard very quickly. a pain and it went away.

Later I tried some of the beef fat and I gagged and choked. It tasted racid. I mean just plain aweful. I tried to upchuck it and only got some flem. Once it was explained to me by the shippers and people on the carnivore site, it seems that the omega level is extreme and the taste is totally different and can be quite off putting. So, this stuff is all going in the garbage. The primal burger with the organ meat I will continue to test. I had a mild reaction more like histamine type. which is why I tend to shy away from ground beef. The chicken skin fried up gave me a bad reaction too but not as bad as the beef fat.

the intent was to get some grassfed organs for more vitamins naturally and people who did not age their meat were out so I settled for the ground beef with the organ meat in it.

So the result of upsetting my system, I got rapid response in the bathroom department this morning. my body really did not like this stuff. I gained a pound with being under calories. I am not concerned about that as it will be gone in a heartbeat. If I can handle the beefheart next week I may just stick to organ meat as I intended for health and enjoy my grainfed beef for food.

Being bad again with the coffee. when I don't feel well I tend to use the coffee to deaden the yucky feeling. brain fog is preferable to discomfort.

Have you tried buying a beef directly from a farmer and sending it to the processor yourself?

I don't think I can afford to buy that much at a time and risk not liking the meat. Plus at this stage I am only eating the ribeyes. it is funny though, I am cooking some beef ribs from them and I just took a bite of the excess fat on it dreading the effect and there was none. so all I know now is the fat they sent me is horrible. and the chicken skin tastes fishy which I understand is the omega taste. the primal hamburger may be doable. I do like my sam's club ribeye bulk packs cheaper and better than publix and I get to keep my fat.

Baskington, if you live in California, you can get a whole, half, or quarter of a cow in Nevada much cheaper. Check out delivery prices though.

yes we have farms here too. but I only want the ribeyes and liver. not ready or able to take a ton of meat. one day maybe! grassfed and finished ribeyes are sold at a premium that I can not afford, heck the ones from sams club are expensive enough.

I can't handle the bacon any more but yes that would be awesome Nikeit. I will be playing with some beef heart too. that should be interesting. They make that primal buffalo ground meat and so far I like it. it has a slight liver taste which I actually enjoy. Just can't handle there plain fat.
