I'm wondering which is better to help me lose weight? Keep my calories low or staying below my carb percentages?

I do count calories all the time . I'm eating basically the same as I have for years but been looking at macros more lately . I was holding to around 95 but gained last few months so trying to adjust things to start losing again.

How old are you? Do you have you an active life? I has been eating 1700-1800 calories and not losing weight. I still want to lose belly, so this week I started with 1200 calories per day, and doing the 5:2 diet (500 calories two non consecutive days of the week) . I am a short girl too. 5 feet 0 in. The last few pounds are hard to lose 😥

I would go with keeping both low until you increase activity. Then you may possibly start slowly increasing both as your activity increases. Let your scale be your guide...

Both -- low carb is always most important for me but calories count as well

I try to keep my calories at 1200-1500 and my carbs 20-30. this combination works well for me.
