A few weeks ago I bought some sausages in a local market, without a brand, without a table of nutritional values, but they were supposed to be pork. My husband ate one and few hours later he felt a little bad, not from the stomach but in general. I tasted them and they seemed good, but the texture seemed a little suspicious, and I told hubby I think they have some kind of flour. Even so, I spent a week eating one a day, I thought what damage could do to me of something that has 70 grams that contained some flour ... I did not feel so bad in the week, just a headache almost permanent 😂 but I felt the consequence On Monday, I got up from the couch and almost fell from the dizziness that I felt. I had not been dizzy since last year ... Of course I suffer from insulin resistance and I spent a week eating a hidden carb, I do not even know how much there is in that chorizo. Definitely the carbs are the devil for me. Yesterday I felt as if I had been hit by a truck but today I am feeling better. I had never imagined that eating a little more carbs for a week could affect me so negatively.

sorry you had such a scare, sometimes it just doesn't pay to buy products you can't read a label on

I don’t that it was a ‘flour’ that made you sick but something else. I’m not sure I would by unlabeled meat from any store. Who knows what it was, how old it was or how it had been stored. Lesson learned.

It may be Kenna, the truth is that other 4 family members ate them and nothing happened to them, and well, that kind of dizziness has always hit me because of my insulin resistance problems. But of course it is impossible to know for sure what was what affected me. 🙄

And of course I will never buy again handmade sausages that do not have brand and nutritional table! 😅

Wheat or any grains do that to me! Flu like symptims even a fever at times! Also can trigger a candida spike - another story. Thank you for sharing this - I had sausage with breakfast at a casino this morning. How do I know what was in that sausage? Bacon would be a much better choice going forward - Thanks! Hope you are feeling better!!!

I don't think the sausages are the main culprit and nor does the carb. Anyway, you would not try it again!
