And... got back to town early and since I missed my liveSTRONG group today I headed to the Y. Didn’t have long but got in both hip machines, fly/delt machine, chest and leg press, lower back machine, ab machine (2 sets only for those two), 5 min on the treadmill to warm up... AND worked up my nerve to try some muscle(?) ups again and a stand up machine with the rope. There wasn’t a picture for what I wanted to do but I’ve seen others do it so I just did that. Worked the triceps and forearms mostly I think. That’s what hurt anyway and the biceps handled it well. Shoulders are a bit stiff now so probably those too.

I was able to get my 3” raise again 3 times and in the last I just did a flex hang as long as I could. Was proud that I could keep my body a bit straighter this time! Still not great form but I’m happy with small improvements. Bands came today so I’ll be working with those at home this weekend.

Got home and the volleyball set had come in too so hubby and I set that up and played until the kids came home. Probably 20 minutes or so. More running after the ball than anything else lol.

At the dr I parked on the first floor and walked up one the in. On the way back I walked down both flights which added way more steps in than I expected. Pretty sure they designed the building so that patients get their steps in lol. Over 6000 already and we are headed in to town for the music festival and maybe stay for the booths and outside movie. More steps 😁. THAT extra activity today is why I will NOT worry about my food. This will be a good test as to how I do in ‘maintenance’ and how I do after. If it sends me to binge next week or not 🤔. For full disclosure... I snuck a treat as I typed this. I wanted a protein bar all day so I had one lol. It’s protein so it can’t be that bad lol. Better than the snickers my kid waved in front of me 😠. One of these days I’m onna snatch it and eat it for her lol. She should know not to tease me with candy bars!
