Know what an 8oz beef tenderloin, salad and sautéed veggies is worth? 602 kcal and $36. Yeah seems they don’t serve $10 burgers after lunch and we had already sat down and ordered drinks when we found that out lol. BUT I got a VERY nice $125 before tip meal out tonight AND 600 kcal so I don’t feel bad at all for my chest weekend so far. Even went way over on protein! Oddly enough the soreness I should be experiencing hasn’t happened yet. Because I walked more this evening than usual? Because of the higher protein? Because I’m so dang tired I couldn’t tell if I was sore or not? Didn’t even take time to stretch after the workout today.

I’m not near as sore as usual this morning. I bet you are right! May have to plan a juicy steak for dinner on workout days 😁.

Some days I eat half a pound of ground beef, a chicken fajita or similar. Mostly I just rush home for a quick sandwich before off to the next thing lol. I also dislike cooking steak for just me. Hubby gets irritated when it’s time to buy a side of beef and one kid gets downright angry if she hunks I’m eating better than she is (she gets a $3.50 school lunch every day but if I grab a burger or protein smoothie shitbhits the fan). Anyone want a 12 year old????? Joking of course With as much as I’m running around I can’t believe I’m not burning off more. I do know at 160 just a trip to Walmart burned more than a full afternoon of errands now. Probably because I’ve as heavier then, we burn less at lower weights and I’ve gitten a bit more fit.
