Well, not enough sleep made for a not-so-great day. However, I did write in my thankfulness journal, go to Zumba Gold, bought a few groceries, watered all the plants, baked fresh bread, and made a tofu and basil pasta salad for dinner. I didn't have chicken for my basil & pasta salad, so I used some baked tofu that I had from Trader Joe's; I can hardly wait for dinner, lol.

It is hot-hot-hot outside; thank goodness for AC! Yesterday was over 100 degrees, which was a bit much for the portable air conditioners. I suppose that contributed to my not getting enough sleep.

Tomorrow will be a better day, and I'll spend more time reading journals and joining in. Take care, everyone.

Who needs AC in Oregon? (kidding. I know people do like it..) I just tough it out the few days it is yucky. And use my fans. Also, I just wanted to say that fresh baked bread is my kryptonite. Seriously. I could eat a whole loaf in one go, poof, 1,000,000 calories ingested. (-: so yay for you on self control!

I ditto that on the bread...but alas, no bread for me on this program. Sorry you were hot CK. I know with your medical you really need to stay cool - hopefully tonight will be better.

I make 1 pound loaves of honey whole wheat flax bread; only about 1400 calories in a whole loaf, lol. I have been able to resist more than a slice now & then, but fresh homemade bread is the way to go if I have sole. My partner loves it, to. Yes, I need the ac for medical reasons; I also love the fact that I can cook without heating up the house. Last night was a casserole with a side of yesterday's tomato Basil pasta salad. :o)
