Thinking I'm probably eating too much fat and calories. I'm new to this keto thing... still not sure how eating a lot of fat is helpful but loving the idea and hoping for the best. I just feel like my calorie count is way too high. I am gonna start slowly decreasing the amount of food I am eating to see if that helps but I know if I start out too extreme that I will never stick to this. I have been struggling too long. I figure the fact that I'm not eating hardly any carbs has to be helping some. Any keto advice would truly be helpful!

As long as your carb count is low then you should be good. Your body will burn off those healthy fats. Just be sure you don’t consume added sugar and be careful of fruits as well. Good luck on your journey! I was nervous about eating so much fat too bc I have always tried to eat low fat. But I have lost 11 lb this month and have no inflammation whatsoever! I still have a ways to go, but I feel so good. I am rooting for you:)

Just give it some time. You'll get to see why so many fall in love with this lifestyle during the weeks ahead. After eating well for some time, the body will come to a well satiated state, and the control that comes with that is precious.
