Castella1– another reason to use a reasonable portion control— it really helps keep the grocery bill under control.

Thanks JMA312. Checked it out. Sounds like a fish I'll have to try since it's here and on sale. Apparently it's quite expensive fresh and wild. These are likely farmed and they're frozen but hey, a bird can fly, a fly can't bird and fish gotta swim, right.

Hey, Kenna, you are absolutely correct. I live in Colorado and pay the price to eat fish......

A few years ago we drove down to the Keys for a few days vacation and my GPS messed me up so I missed the Miami bypass and figured, like here in Jacksonville, that I 95 went through Miami. Nope. It ended quickly in a downtown area so we being lost at nightfall did what all good Floridians do. We found a Popeyes Fried Chicken joint and got some red beans and rice, some spicy fried chicken, fries and jalapeños and had supper. I did find US 1 and knew where that went (Key West!) so after lotsa red lights finally made Florida City and found a cheap but nice hotel and bedded down for the night. I got up the next morning and went to Walmart for new fishing gear as all my surf gear was way too heavy for the Keys. We booked in at Islamorada and the next day I searched for a place to fish. 3 islands later I found I found a place and caught nothing but did locate an area that was uncomfortable to fish at so fished there. Oh my God I caught one fish after another non stop. Didn’t know what they was so I snapped a photo and googled it later. They was snapper!! I threw them back cause our resort wanted $16 a pound to cook em for us! Hell Naw! Naw to the Naw Naw! But I do love me some snapper!

Aw, sorry you're not a fan otherwise - I loved growing up on the beach! And yes, it gets easy to be spoiled for choice when it comes to seafood 🐟🍣🍴

Love Snapper, MahiMahi, Sea Bass, Salmon, shrimp, lobster, crab, fresh tuna, canned solid white albacore tuna, and even canned salmon made into salmon patties. Not necessarily in thst order. Great, now I'm hungry for fish.
