Just going to put this out there... I’m proud of the losses some of you have attained and sad for those who are struggling. I try my best to keep up with some of you around my family and their many activities.

That being said, this diet is temporary for me. I’m happy you’ve found what works for you and I’m hoping to find what works for me. However, I will not diet forever. I’ll go back to eating more unhealthy, I actually don’t eat that healthy now lol. Ive always been able to maintain not including after each pregnancy. Cancer, chemo and surgical menopause has changed my body and I’m hopeful that it’ll get back on track. The only way for me to truly know what has changed is to get back to my normal weight of 110-130. Then I’ll know if my metabolism is the same. If not I can adjust accordingly, but I don’t believe what I need now will be what I need when I’m back to normal.

I do not want a lifestyle change. I’m a farm girl and will need to go back to my normal diet if possible. In order to do the things I need to do I need energy and carbs give me energy although I’m finding that almonds give me a small amount of energy too. And caffeine ;D, I’m a bear without caffeine!! I also have a horrid sweet tooth! I have anxiety and depression that worsened after losing 3 parents in less than 4 years and lots of family squabbles. Smoking and sweets get me through the day. seem to need those things and am addicted and that’s ok with me. One day I hope to change it but every single time I try someone dies, another issue pops up or life in general just sucks.

My ‘diet’ is just to get back to my normal weight range. However I do enjoy reading about your diets:). I do NOT like change so if I don’t see a quick positive result it’s back to what I’m comfortable with and can sustain. I envy those of you who can lose on your choice of eating plans/diets.

I also want everyone to know that I never mean to offend and am a peacemaker which is odd being an only child lol. I like a good debate as long as everyone is still happy and friendly at the end of it :). I wish everyone continued success in their WOE and will keep my fingers crossed for those who are experimenting that they find what works for them :).
