TeacherSandye's Journal, 06 Jun 18

Woo Hoo! Keto blood level up to 2.0 today! Guess counting carbs daily does help!

Just made this for lunch. I call it lazy Keto chicken salad. Made with leftover rotisserie chicken, celery, olives, dill, watercress, green onions, green olives and a mix of avocado oil mayo & sour cream.

I'm loving the cookbook feature on this website, as I enter my "recipes" and it gives me the macros so I can keep track.

Feeling good. Now to get motivated for some chores...:)

TeacherSandye, what do you use to test your ketones? I'm considering a blood ketone meter.

I use the Fora Glucose and Ketone monitor. The ketone strips are a lot cheaper than most. (I ordered on Amazon)

I actually found this recipe (well close, cuz' I never leave a recipe alone) on KetoConnect.net. They're a fun couple to watch and have some fun recipes and Keto ideas.
