Gearing up for this year's Warrior Ride. Probably gonna need the rain gear this year, but that's ok. Just thankful we survived the monsoon rains as we drove in last night & came through after the flash flooding. Had to detour, but we made it!

Rides like that are a great reason to be out in the rain. I missed hooking up with the Run for the Wall groups this year but planning on making a solo run up to the angle fire memorial next weekend. Y'all be safe and keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down out there.

Thanks J. We wouldn't miss it! My husband gets excited about this ride. He's done it 6 of the 7 years now. As he said, it's one way he can support our soldiers.

Roger that! I feel the same way as your hubs doing what I can for those that do something I could not do myself and give up so much while doing it.

The rain has been torrential in the NC high country this past week. Here in the Charlotte area (and upper SC Midlands in the Lancaster County, where I live), we've had some pretty good downpours. The grass is growing like weefs! Good luck and many thanks for your support of our military!
