Things are looking up but I think the weather is screwy. 3 weeks ago we had freezing temps and snow today it's 90 with a higher heat index thanks to the humidity. No one is used to it yet, I think I'm melting. I'm outside most of the afternoon trying the get the gardens planted and other yard work done. I have 2 more raised beds to do and then at least mow the backyard and it's 3pm. The front is mowed and some new plants planted and a couple hanging baskets put together and hung. Came in to cool off and check on the laundry.

My washing machine is fixed, the icemaker is fixed, the drains have been rooted out, and me on amoxicillin for a sinus infection. Fruits and veggies purchased this am for the week and some chicken thighs now in the freezer to take to the lake next weekend with a to die for Korean BBQ sauce. So this person who eats little can sure cook it. ;) GD graduates from high school on Sat so will be there for a couple days.

Weekend exercise is mostly related to the yard. We are forecast to have rain much of the coming week so am hoping to get to the gym.

Wow - you must be feeling better to get all that yard work done! How are the chickens doing?

I’m having a hard time with instant summer. We seem to have skipped right over spring. I have a VERY important, outside event, next Saturday. They’re calling for heat and T-storms as of Channel 9 at 5:30. 😟

What's in your Korean BBQ sauce? I've been experimenting with Korean Black Bean Paste in everything lately. Makes a great glaze for meatloaf mixed with tomato sauce. mmmmm

Johanne, yup one of those years of jumping from Feb weather to August-- no time for the body to adapt. Hoping next Saturday is nice down near Clinton as a high school graduation day. Things are doing better, chickens are loving getting to roam around the yard when I'm home and the pups are not out. 2-3 eggs a day, Roo went to a nice home in the country a couple weeks go. OOMarx00 I can post the recipe shortly will have to look it up-it is sooo yummy. I don't know it off the top of my brain. No black bean paste. I don't have the Korean version, might have to try it.

The worst of the storms seem to be going north. Even if it rains here, Clinton may be alright. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for BOTH of us. 😊
