DS107's Journal, 26 Feb 18

It's only a pound, but I'll take a loss rather than a gain, in this case any way! This is my first milestone, 50 pounds. I want to say it's been difficult, but it really hasn't. I want to say the diet is hard, but it really isn't.
I eat when I want to eat, I just don't eat bad carbs. I've learned a lot about foods as well. For instance, vegetables. I really didn't know they were full of carbs. Complex carbs, but carbs none-the-less. They all add up, especially the way (or amount) I used to eat. I went from hundreds each day to less than 20, over night. One day at a time. One battle at a time as well.
I have a Dr. appointment Thursday, I hope he is as excited about all of my numbers as I am.
Thank you everyone for all of your encouraging comments and well wishes, I know it makes a difference. I have a long way to go, but with all the support I get from my FS family I know I can do it. So please accept my heart felt thank you.
I still can't believe I've lost 50 pounds.
163.6 kg Lost so far: 22.7 kg.    Still to go: 61.5 kg.    Diet followed: 100%.
