It is so good to feel so good. I'd begun to wonder if I ever would again!

DASH is working well, very well. I just spent my afternoon prepping food for the week. I made a beautiful salad--kale, spinach, red cabbage, broccoli, celery, grated carrots and zucchini and radishes, grape tomatoes, herbs. I've been eating a salad every day for lunch, topped with grilled chicken and kidney beans, or tuna and edamame. If I have a dinner salad I just add the beans and some chopped egg--lots of protein, good carbs. I kind of burned out on salads last year, but they taste wonderful again.

I've got pasta sauce simmering for tomorrow's dinner; when I was making the salad I discovered that my sweet peppers weren't firm enough to enjoy raw, but added to a stockpot with ground beef and ground pork, onions, garlic, spinach, grated carrot and sweet potato, mushrooms, herbs, and a little brown sugar....YUM. My house smells amazing right now. My husband says it's torturing him!

Decaf everything tastes as good as the high octane stuff; I even found decaf espresso beans. Fruit is satisfying my sweet tooth.

And the weight is beginning to fall away, effortlessly, again. Working out at the Y with my daughter is good for both of us.

It might be Monday, but I am a very happy girl. I hope today is being kind to all of you, too!
