kmking40's Journal, 20 Nov 17

You have got to be kidding me! Will try to stay positive and follow the advice I give others to "hang in there!" Even with a cheat day I am averaging under the amount of calories needed to lose 2 pounds a week. I'm also exercising now. Just dont get it.

Anyway, blah, blah, blah, guess it just comes with the territory. I really wanted to be at 250 by Jan 1. At this rate, I don't know.😟 I thought of doing some kind of drastic diet to get there but don't know if it will be worth it if it's something that's not sustainable.

14 pounds by Jan. 1 seems doable but apparently my body likes where it is right now . The owner of this body, however, does not!
119.8 kg Lost so far: 19.3 kg.    Still to go: 31.4 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Yup you have to hang in there, what are your daily carbs? When I cut my carbs to under 20 I got results. Are you burning more calories than you are consuming? 3500 calories = a pound. Hope this helps good luck

You also may want to consider changing up your exercise routine, especially if it is primarily cardio. If that is the case, try high repetition, medium-weight resistance training. 5 x 12 on sets and routines that generally involve around 450 - 550 repetitions in one hour or less. This means 20 second breaks max. It seems to be very effective for many people.

I shook the mystical weight loss ball and it says you'll weigh 261.3 on November 30th. The ball sees trends and is very accurate within a 0.5 pound in either direction. If your exercise has increased in terms of distance/time and effort maybe a few calories above your current goal will help with the next drop. Counterintuitive by any stretch but who knows.....personally, you're doing great.

It's so hard to see small losses, but next week you could be down a few pounds, sometimes our bodies are stubborn. Just keep eating healthy and exercising, those things will get you where you need to be in the long run.

I heard that. Maybe just something drastic ( but not dangerous) for a short time will break the Plato. I’m using platos to learn mantainance my biggest struggle by far

Your doing great so far. It can also be water weight that your body is holding on. Sometimes drinking more water or even if your sore from a workout can cause water retention. You can do it!! I've sometime had no weight loss for two weeks but felt slimmer so maybe losing inches??
