Happy Thursday!

At my weigh in this morning it was nice to see a 1 pound loss. This healthstyle has some unique characteristics. One big example is the way my weight drops a pound or two, then goes up a half of a pound or so, then stays the same for a little while, then drops another pound or two. The overall trend is downward, but it seems like my body it taking its time to adjust each time I lose. I've lost 28 pounds since the first week of May. That averages to 1.75 pounds per week. I think that is a healthy amount not too drastic, and not too slow. I feel like my body is doing some metabolic healing, but as I tell my grandkids...I will never be able to tolerate high carbohydrate foods because I messed up my insulin response by eating junk. They have an opportunity to keep their metabolism running well by eating healthy whole foods at an early age.
