Busy busy this week! I'm on the mend and the strep throat is gone. I'm almost done the antibiotics which is good because they do cause some tummy upset.

This past week the combine has come to take off the wheat at my dad's farm. So we were over to see that. Followed by the straw being baled up into big bales. There is over 500 big bales!!! And then the task of bringing them in from the field which is no easy thing to do with a determined 83 year old father! As my mom says, 'the spirit is willing but the body is not so'! Luckily, there the fellow who did the baling said he would help bring the bales in. He is very quick with the loading and unloading! Last night we finished one field that had over 300 bales in it. Hopefully, the other field will be brought in by this weekend. Still no rain in sight! It is so dry here in Southern Ontario.

Not many plans for the weekend. Hubby is working, so hanging out with my son. We'll go to the farm tomorrow and help out and then on Sunday my son has a play day with a school friend.
