Thanks for your feedback Draglist...It recommended me 1900 calories a day...I agree with you on both points...it might be too high (though I'm having trouble staying within it still and am often over), and that my carb intake is probably too high...I read I should eat 25-30% of intake as protein...I find it VERY hard to reach that...I've switched off bread and pasta almost completely...so I guess I just have to be more patient as I'm doing a diet-makeover. I appreciate your comments and taking the ctime to look over my profile to see what the sitution might be that's holding me back

Also, Draglist, how do you view what others are eating and percentages? I can't see that feature...I'd like to be able to see others charts too...

Oh yes! Thank you...if you wouldn't mind giving me some numbers to target, I'd greatly appreciate that! I'm 167cm and 43 years old...my weight you know, 85kg...I'm wanting 75-78kg. Swimming 2/3 times a week a mile each time. Is there any other info needed for the number crunching? I teach. Some energy required for that, but other than swimming, not very active.

From what I understand from your writing above I should be targeting 1500-1600 calories a day...? Currently they recommended 1900 to me.

Thanks for the number crunching and perspective...wow! I'm really out of the ballpark...this is really helpful. It will take some time to digest...pun intended~^^

Wow Draglist! I'm really impressed with your knowledge on that. I would really love to know what a healthy fat percentage would be for me? And please don't let yesterday's food journal mislead you! haha...I had a very off day. Would love your feedback on my typical dietary intake. My trainer currently has me focusing on a 33% split between fats, carbs and protein. I do like that balance and typically am pretty close to following that on average (except for yesterday!!) Putting my stats out there - I am 5' 3", small framed/boned and just weighed in at 136.2 today. My bf is at 28% per caliper testing. Also...just going to put it out there...doesn't breast tissue affect a women's bf? Not that it's an excuse, but is that taken into consideration when setting bf goals? Don't get me wrong...even though I am well endowed...I do have fat in my lower body that needs to come off. I would just be interested in what a realistic and healthy bf would be for my proportions.

Awesome! So my 10 pound weight loss goal is pretty realistic and on target? Thank you for the feedback! I really appreciate it!
