Week Eight of 2016


Plan for 2016
- Smaller goals, starting with 1/2 a pound per month minimum. To be determined
- No less than 2 hours a week for working out. Goal Hit!
- Veggies with every dinner. Almost! (I don't think mashed potatoes count)
- No more than one alcoholic drink (mixed drink or hard cider) per week (may be altered for holidays, can save up the weekly drinks to have multiple at an event). Goal Hit!


I did weigh in on Sunday, I just haven't had time to record it (hence the date at the top of the post being different from the actual date). And while I'm not thrilled with another increase, I've been weighing in nightly to see if there's a trend or something out of the ordinary, because I hit the gym religiously last week (but I also snacked too, and was coming off of TOM). From that Sunday number of 177.8, I'm down two pounds as of 6PM today, so I'm not sure if my body is recalibrating or what, but I'll take it.

House hunting is still just that -- hunting. We've found a couple more promising places, but they've been snatched up before we could get our offer in, so the hunt continues (probably this weekend, if we're being honest). At least I get more steps in that way rather than vegging out on my couch.


I really really appreciate all the positive messages ya'll left on my last entry. I don't think I could do this without the additional motivational pushes from you guys.

Woot! Keep it up! Mashed potatoes count, but they are carbalicious... It's the reason so many people switched to sweet potatoes- more nutrition bang for the calorie count. It's all good. :)
